Eligibility
To enter, you must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident. Amesbury Sports Park employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. Immediate family includes only spouses, parents and children.

Judging
Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity and effectiveness in conveying the passion you have for the competition. An Amesbury Sports Park panel will judge the entries and all contest decisions are final. Entries that fail to comply with the Official Contest Rules will be disqualified.

Winners
Judges will select two winners. If fewer than ten eligible contestants are entered in the contest, Amesbury Sports Park may choose to name only one winner. In addition, one or more honorable mention winners may be selected at the discretion of the judging panel. Winners will be notified approximately 1 week before the Spartan Race using the information on the entry form. A photo and information about the winner will be displayed on the Amesbury Sports Park web site and may be used in advertising and marketing campaigns. If one of the ASP Warriors wins the Spartan Race on 8/28/10, he or she will be awarded a $500 cash prize, and will be responsible to report winnings for tax purposes and to any government agencies as necessary. If selected as the ASP Warrior, ASP will provide the racer’s entry to the Spartan Race, free of charge.

The chosen ASP Warrior(s) MAY be required to pose for pictures the day of the event, conduct interviews with the press and as a sponsored racer, represent ASP and the Spartan Race in a favorable manner.
ASP Warriors will be required to sign a waiver of liability releasing the Amesbury Sports Park from liability in addition to any required waivers of the Spartan Race. Racers participate at their own risk and assume responsibility for any injuries, etc.
Additional Terms and Conditions
Amesbury Sports Park reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend all or any portion of this contest without notice if factors beyond Amesbury Sports Park control, including technical difficulties, acts of God, natural disasters, or any other issues that disrupt or corrupt the fair or secure administration or operation of the contest. Void where prohibited. Amesbury Sports Park is entitled to interpret these rules as needed and its decisions are final. Amesbury Sports Park reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that Amesbury Sports Park has reason to believe does not meet the contest rules. If a winner is disqualified or determined to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected using the same judging process/criteria described above. Alternate winners are subject to all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
By participating in the contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Amesbury Sports Park and its employees, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this contest, including infringement of intellectual property rights. Amesbury Sports Park and its employees, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from this contest.
